Garretts Desert Inn

For this design charrette we proposed 26, approximately 1,500 sq. ft. houses together with small retail stores on Old Santa Fe Trail and on the Santa Fe river. The houses will surround private courtyard spaces and will define the streets. They will be designed in the traditional Santa Fe layout, following the Spanish “Laws of the Indies”. Parking will be underground. The retail stores will allow public pedestrian strolling and dining on the street and, more importantly on the Santa Fe river.
